Kokido Voltera Pool Vacuum Buying Guide
Kokido Voltera Buying Guide
Voltera 60 · Voltera 75 · Voltera 105 · Rechargeable Handheld Pool & Spa Vacuums Compared
The fastest way to spot-clean your pool — no hoses, no hassle.
The Kokido Voltera range is Australia's most popular cordless handheld pool vacuum series — lightweight, rechargeable and ready to use in seconds. Whether you need to quickly remove a leaf pile, clean up after a storm or tackle fine silt before a party, the Voltera vacuums let you target any area of your pool floor or spa without setting up hoses or running your pool pump. This guide compares all three models so you can choose the right one for your pool.
What is a handheld pool vacuum?
A handheld pool vacuum is a battery-powered suction device you hold underwater (or attach to a telescopic pole) to manually vacuum your pool floor or spa. Unlike a robotic pool cleaner that operates autonomously, a handheld vacuum puts you in control — you direct the suction exactly where it's needed.
The Kokido Voltera models are cordless and rechargeable — no hoses, no connection to your pool's filtration system required. Simply charge, submerge and vacuum. Debris is collected inside the unit's filter canister, which you empty after use. Perfect for spot cleaning, spa maintenance, post-storm cleanup and reaching areas your automatic cleaner misses.
When is a Voltera the Right Tool?
After a Storm
Quickly remove leaf piles, bark and debris that settled on the pool floor after a heavy wind event — without waiting for your robot to complete a full cycle.
Before a Party
Spot-clean the pool floor in 15 minutes before guests arrive. Target visible debris without running a full robot cycle.
Spa & Hot Tub
Clean your spa or hot tub floor, seats and steps where robotic cleaners can't reach. All Voltera models work in spas.
Flocculant Cleanup
After adding flocculant to clear cloudy water, the Voltera 60 vacuums the settled sludge directly to waste without clogging your filter.
Spot Cleaning
Target specific dirty patches your automatic cleaner missed — corners, steps, around fittings and along the waterline.
Above Ground Pools
Perfect for smaller above ground and plunge pools where a full robotic cleaner may be overkill or too large to operate effectively.

Model Profiles
The Voltera 60 is the most feature-packed entry-level model in the range thanks to its unique Triklean 3-in-1 cleaning system. It vacuums debris, filters the water and — uniquely — includes FlocBuster vacuum-to-waste functionality, allowing you to remove settled flocculant sludge directly from the pool floor without sending it through your filter. Dual-stage filtration captures everything from leaves down to fine dust and silt at 50 microns. Compact and lightweight — ideal for smaller pools, plunge pools and spas.

The Voltera 75 is the step-up mid-range model — designed for medium to large pools and spas. Powered by a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery with extended runtime compared to the 60, it features the same patented dual-stage filtration system (250μ and 50μ) for thorough removal of leaves, sand, silt, fine dust and gravel. The rigid filter cone makes debris removal simple and the clear clip-lock canister lets you see when it's time to empty. Can be held by the handle or connected to a standard telescopic pole for hands-free floor cleaning.

The flagship of the Voltera range — built for larger pools with heavy debris loads. The extra-wide body sweeps debris into side channels for concentrated, powerful suction across a wider path with every pass. Three filter bags (250μ standard, 75μ fine, 50μ ultra-fine) are included for different debris types and water conditions. The 6.5-litre debris capacity means fewer stops to empty. Multiple safety features — auto water sensor, magnetic waterproof seal, auto blade stop on clogging — make it the most robust and long-lasting Voltera model. The swivelling metal handle attaches to any standard vacuum pole for effortless floor coverage.

Choosing the Right Voltera Model
Only the Voltera 60 has FlocBuster vacuum-to-waste. If you regularly use flocculant to clear cloudy water, the 60 is the right choice.
Go straight to the Voltera 105 — the 6.5L canister, 75-minute runtime and wide body make it the best performer for larger pools with heavy leaf loads.
The Voltera 60 or 75 are ideal — compact enough to manoeuvre around spa seats and jets, with enough suction for fine spa debris.
The Voltera 60 or 75 are the perfect match — lightweight, easy to handle and more than capable for smaller above ground pool cleaning.
All three Voltera models attach to a standard telescopic pole (sold separately). Using a pole is much easier than handheld for cleaning pool floors — don't skip it.
Allow water to circulate for 24–48 hours after adding shock, algaecide or high chemical doses before using your Voltera vacuum.
